AIRIA Pune Chapter WR had organized a Rubber Chemist Meet (RCM) at Hotel Sayaji on 13th May 2010 from 6.00 PM onward. Around 70 members of Western Region from all over Maharashtra attended. Shri D.T.Keswani, Dr. P Thavamani Director IRMRA, Dr.Shetty and Abbas Bootwala were the panel members. Mr.Milind K.Joshi Chairman Pune Chapter welcomed Chief Guest Mr. Niraj Thakkar, Vice President AIRIA, Mr Vinod Patkotwar Chairman WR, Dr. P Thavamani Director IRMRA and panel members. Mr.Vinod Patkotwar gave brief speech on the purpose of organizing RCM. Chief Guest Mr. Niraj Thakkar spoke to the members briefing and updating about current scenario of Rubber Industry and gave his perception about Quality gap in Rubber Components manufactured in India. Mr.Vinod Patkotwar introduced new members, Mr.Naushad Shikalgar of J.N.Engineering & Mr. Pravin Agarwal of Mooney Polymers and presented them with Membership Kit, which was introduced for the first time. He also felicitated senior members Mr.Telang of Garware Elastomeric and Mr.R.R. Malik of Tata Motors.
